Texas-based Kimberly-Clark has given no indication it will extend Sunday’s deadline for the state to formalize an offering of tax credits. The paper-making giant announced plans to close two of its plants earlier this year, eliminating hundreds of jobs in the Fox Valley. The Wisconsin Assembly approved the tax package in an effort to retain some of those jobs. The Senate hasn’t given its approval and local officials have asked the company to wait until after the November 6th election.
