Nearly 400 people died in Wisconsin last year from the flu. A new report from the state health agency says 7500 people were hospitalized with flu related complications. Vicki Dantoin of the Shawano Health Department says it’s important to build an immunity to the flu because of the ever changing strains. Dantoin encourages residents to get flu shots. Only 36% of Wisconsinites got the flu shot last year.
