The National Weather Service in Green Bay has portions of western Wisconsin with an enhanced risk for severe weather. Central Wisconsin cities including Shawano and Wausau currently have a slight risk for severe weather, while eastern Wisconsin areas from Milwaukee to Green Bay are under a marginal risk. According to a hazardous weather outlook from the weather service, parts of central, north-central and eastern Wisconsin are at risk.
There is a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms in eastern Wisconsin this afternoon and evening, and a slight risk in central and north-central Wisconsin. There is also an area of enhanced risk, mainly in Shawano, Wood County and western Marathon County. The main hazards are damaging winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes. Heavy rains could cause urban and small stream flooding as well.
