A poll released Tuesday gives Democrat Tony Evers a five-point lead over incumbent Republican Scott Walker in the race for the state’s top elective office. Half of the potential voters who responded to the Marquette Poll did say they think the state is headed in the right direction. Infrastructure is a problem, with only five percent of respondents saying Wisconsin roads are in excellent condition. Forty-eight-percent say the state is paying Foxconn more than the project in Mount Pleasant is worth.
