Green Bay residents, businesses–an even firefighters– continue to deal with the aftermath of flash flooding on Green Bay’s east side. City roads were back open Tuesday as waters receded. Torrential downpours Monday night flooded streets and swamped dozens of cars on E. Mason Street. Twenty-four hour rainfall totals for the area range from three inches to 6.38 inches. The Green Bay Metro Fire Department said they rescued dozens of people from flooded cars. More than 100 people were evacuated from seven buildings in the Main Street/Newberry corridor.
