– Police responded Monday afternoon to a report of a bomb threat received by Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
The school notified Appleton police of the threat at 2:15 p.m., the department said in a statement Monday evening.
Explosive-detection police dogs from the police department and the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department helped in conducting a sweep of the school. The Outagamie and Brown County Bomb Squad also assisted.
“No items of concern were located at the school,” according to the statement.
Investigators are working on determining the threat’s source.
Classes will continue Tuesday as planned
Football practice was canceled and teachers were cleared from the school while police searched. Teachers were allowed to continue working once the building had been cleared.
