The season opener for the Green Bay Packers just got a lot tougher — at least, for the offense. The Chicago Bears completed a weekend deal for standout pass rusher Khalil Mack, then signed him to the biggest contract ever given to an N-F-L defensive player — 141-million dollars over six years. E-S-P-N is reporting 90-million of that is guaranteed. The Bear defense ranked in the league’s top-10 last year for both points and yards allowed, but it lacked a standout pass rusher. Mack will be expected to put pressure on Packer quarterback Aaron Rodgers next Sunday as the 100th season of Green Bay football gets underway.
