Republicans who control the state senate likely don’t have the votes for the $100 million incentive package to keep a couple of Kimberly Clark Corporation plants open. If the proposal does get through Governor Scott Walker will partily veto it to shape it for the liking of the corporation. In January the company planned to shed up to 5,500 employees by closing or selling 10 plants. In February though the assembly approved a package to keep two Neenah plants open saving 610 jobs. That deal was met by some hesitation in the state senate until recently.
