The story of Rawhide Boys Ranch is coming to life in a new book co-written by the founders, John and Jan Gillespie. The book, entitled “Our 351 Sons” was introduced at a public Rawhide Family Night Fish Fry in Appleton last week. One of the many stories in the book is how Packers Hall of Fame Quarterback, Bart Starr helped save the program when it was in danger of being foreclosed upon. His son, Bart Starr Jr. was at the event to help promote the book. Money raised from the sales of the book will be used to help support the Rawhide Boys Ranch.
