The Wisconsin DNR awarded the city of Clintonville a $218,182 grant to go toward the costs to repair the Pigeon River dam. Clintonville City Administrator Sharon Eveland asked the committee recommend awarding the Pigeon River Dam repair project to Michels Corporation with the cost not to exceed $442,000. This leaves the city to cover $223,817 of the dam repair costs. Eveland recommended that amount above the $220,000 budgeted would come from the Capital Fund balance. The city submitted a drawdown application to the DNR on Monday, July 9, and waits for an answer before they can begin work.
