The Gillett community is rallying around a family who was displaced and a 12 year old boy hospitalized with critical burns after a house fire Saturday night. The boy was in critical but stable condition when rescued and was taken by helicopter to a hospital. The blaze made the house inhabitable and the family lost all their belongings. A go fund me page has been started to help the family, local teachers have started a clothing drive and gas cards donated to help the family travel back and forth to the hospital. The town is working on starting a fundraiser in the next few weeks. To donate go to gofundme.com/5s4kdow or the Gillett community Events page on facebook.
