The Wisconsin DOT office announces a $6.3 million project to improve 13 miles of WIS 29 in Shawano County that will begin Friday June 22 and is expected to finish in October 2018. Pavement rehabilitation will take place on WIS 29 from Highline Road in the Village of Bonduel to the Shawano/Brown County line in the town of Angelica. WIS 29 lane closures will be Friday June 22. The purpose of the project is to extend the service life of the concrete pavement on WIS 29 and improve the safety of the asphalt shoulders. Completion of this project will enhance the ride quality along the WIS 29 corridor and improve the safety of the traveling public.
