The police in Waupaca County arrested a man twice in one day. Thomas C. Hobbs, 67 is charged with felony battery to an officer, misdemeanor resisting an officer and disorderly conduct. Hobbs was first detained for causing a scene a the Pallet One Shop for yelling at employees and then aggressively approaching an officer. He was brought in and handed a citation, but refusing to leave the police cuffed him. Later that night at 10:45 p.m. Hobbs was at Festival Foods and attempted to steal soda and caused a disturbance. Hobbs fought officers while being arrested and was brought to the ground and tazered whole being handcuffed. He is currently in custody on a $2,000 cash bond.
