It’s the 60th anniversary of the Mid-Western Rodeo slated for Thursday through Saturday, June 28-30th at Hoffman Memorial Park, in Manawa. The Manawa rodeo began when local business owner Carl Dretzke was traveling in the western part of Wisconsin and he saw a sign advertising for a rodeo. He thought it’d be a good fundraiser for the community and 60 years later. they’re still doing it. The professional rodeo event will be starting on June 28th at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday they will host 5K event and a parade to celebrate. Tickets are $14 for adults and $5 for children under 12.
