Students and alumni from the Oconto Falls FFA attended the 89th Wisconsin State FFA Convention hosted at the Allianz Energy Center in Madison from June 11 – 14th. On Monday, students served in the capacity as food production specialist with the “Rally to Fight Hunger” program where their team, along with over one hundred FFA members from across the state, packaged over 40,000 pounds of food to combat hunger for children and families all over within Wisconsin. This project is coordinated by Mrs. Beth Rieth and her husband Brian of Oconto Falls. Mrs. Rieth was also recognized at the convention for her service to this service project and for coordinating the Wisconsin FFA Day of Service, which marked its 10th anniversary this year.
