A Keshena man is indicted for involuntary manslaughter on the Menominee Indian Reservation. Saswaen Waukechon, 38, according to the indictment in January while driving under the influence, Waukechon was involved in a single vehicle accident that resulted in the death of a passenger. Indictment is only a charge and not evidence of guilt. If convicted though, Waukechon faces up to eight years behind bars and up to a $250,000 fine and up to three years of supervised release.
