A New London man is being held on a 1000 dollar cash bond following multiple charges in Waupaca County Circuit Court in separate cases. 26 year old Cody R. Thompson is charged with two felony bail jumping counts, plus misdemeanor counts of criminal damage to property, resisting, and two counts of disorderly conduct. One complaint alleges Thompson broke out the passenger window of a vehicle on New London’s north side during a disturbance. The complaint says a man sitting in the passenger seat suffered cuts to the face. The 2nd complaint alleges Thompson caused a disturbance at another New London location, then swore at the officers and resisted arrest. An officer used his taser to bring Thompson under control. If convicted on the charges, he could face up to 12 years in prison. He is due back in court today.
