Cathedral Pines, a DNR-designated state natural area near Townsend, will be dedicated into the Old-Growth Forest Network on Sunday, April 22. The dedication will take place at the trailhead at 2 p.m., and will be followed by a hike into the forest. Cathedral Pines, which is part of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, and will be the first forest in Wisconsin and the Oconto County representative to the forest network.
