A Tigerton woman will be sentenced in July after her conviction in Portage County Court on a charge of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle. 29 year old Billy Jo McSherry entered a no contest plea to the charge, along with causing injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle. McSherry was the driver of a car that crashed into a motorcycle on State Highway 49 last July, killing an Antigo man, and critically injuring the man’s daughter. Prosecutors say McSherry’s blood-alcohol level was nearly four-times the legal limit. She faces up to 40 years in prison when sentenced July 6th.
