An Oshkosh man was sentenced in Oconto County Court. Roger J. Weber, of Oshkosh, was sentenced to 120 days in jail for physically confronting a Lena man in his own home last year and for bail jumping. Judge Jay Conley told Weber the sentence was appropriate considering his record. The man told deputies on June 25 that Weber came into his home, introduced himself, then went outside to speak with the Lena man’s wife. Weber returned a short time later and confronted him about alleged mistreatment of the woman. The man said Weber choked him for 10 to 15 seconds. Weber, 54, was charged with strangulation and suffocation and disorderly conduct.
