Notre Dame 59, Pulaski 56
It was a comeback upset in Green Bay. Things were looking good early on for the Red Raiders who led by 6 at the half. But Notre Dame got 17 points from Avery Lyons and 16 from Matthew Rader to fight back and take control in the second half. It’s only Pulaski’s third loss of the year. It drops them into second place behind Bay Port in the Fox River Classic. They will look to rebound on Friday when they host De Pere.
Bay Port improved to 14-3 with a 66-57 win over Green Bay Southwest.
Suring 56, Wausaukee 31
Suring got 26 points for Ryan Mahoney and 10 from Mitch Stegeman as the Eagles to a Marinette & Oconto Conference victory. It’s the third straight win for Suring who is 13-4 on season and will host Gillett on Friday.
Gresham 69, Manawa 68
Jake Hoffman’s buzzer beater lifted Gresham to the home win. It keeps the Wildcasts in first place in the CWC-North.
Amherst 45, Wittenberg-Birnamwood 41
Wittenberg-Birnamwood had the ball trailing by two points in the final seconds against Amherst but they turned it over. Trevor Groshek and Kody Szews each had 12 in the loss.
Bonduel 85, Rosholt 81
Another slow start doomed Bonduel. The Bears trailed by 16 at halftime and used hot shooting from Parker Bohm, Isac Garside, and Cole Letter to chip away at the lead but they weren’t able to overcome the deficit. Bohm had a team 21 points in the defeat. This is Bonduel’s third straight loss and fifth in their last six games. The Bears will try to bounce back at home against Iola-Scandinavia on Friday.
Shiocton 68, Iola-Scandinavia 59
The Chiefs have now won 8 of their last 9. Matt Peterson and Corbin Lorge each scored 16 points in the victory.
Coleman 78, Gillett 45
Coleman took a 9 point halftime lead but surged in the second half enroute to the blowout win.
