A Shawano man has been reunited with his dog after four long days.
Brandon Buntrock’s one-year-old puppy Dierks took off when they were out looking for a Christmas tree last weekend. Buntrock went to social media asking for help, even saying he didn’t care if he was alive or dead…he just wanted to find him. It was in the early morning hours today when the good news came.
“Actually I was in bed and my buddy called me, he was on his way home from work, it was 3:30 in the morning” Buntrock told TCHDailyNews.com. “He’d seen him on the side of the road just sitting there, standing there. So he called me and you know I come there and he wasn’t there, he ran away. We go down there a little ways and I called for him and he came running.”
Buntrock said Dierks is somehow safe and healthy despite being out in the elements over the past four days.
