
A holiday gift of CPR kits will increase the amount of people who can be trained on CPR techniques.
Shawano Ambulance Services received four Hands Only CPR kits were made available through the George & Gussie Balck and Art & Mary Leske Charitable Fund of the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region. Shawano Ambulance Director Pat Trinko said the new kits are easier to deploy than full sized mannequins.
“It allows our instructors to work with more people at the same time,” Trinko told TCHDailyNews.com. “Making it more efficient to get people through the practical exercises of the class.”
Trinko said the free community training class sizes that were limited to 10 people will now be “substantially larger”.
