In basketball, Shawano swept Clintonville in the girls/boys doubleheader on Saturday.
Tori DePerry led all scorers in the girls game with 29 points in the Hawks 48-38 victory. Brandi Gueths also had 11 points. Lizzy Weatherwax and Chelsey Birling each had 8 for the Truckers.
In the boys game, Shawano shot out to a 38-14 halftime lead and cruised to a 71-39 victory. Alex Mueller went for a game high 20 points for the Hawks. Aidan Polzin had 14 in the loss for Clintonville who had a rough 24 hours, after losing to Denmark Friday night, 52-39.
Waupaca wins big against Oconto Falls 65-35. Brandon Wanty leads the way 22 points in the victory and Justin Vaughn added 11. Both teams are now 1-1.
Pulaski made 9 out of 10 free throws in the second half in a come from behind win against New London 64-58.
