The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction has released their report cards for every district and school in Wisconsin. Shawano’s score for the 2016-17 school year was 64.5, which falls in the meets expectations category. The Shawano School District released a statement in response saying they are disappointed in the results. Their goal is to be at 73 by the year 2021. Clintonville and New London were both in the “exceeds expectations category” category. Clintonville had a 74.5 while New London had a 79.7. The report cards include data on multiple indicators for multiple years across the four priority areas of student achievement, student growth, closing gaps, and on-track post secondary readiness.
