A prescription drug roundup is coming up this weekend in Shawano and some surrounding communities. It’s a chance for you to clean out your medicine cabinet and properly dispose of your old or unwanted prescriptions. You can drop them off this Saturday between 10 am and 2 pm at the police departments in Shawano, Tigerton, Stockbridge and Bonduel. Experts say teens who abuse prescription medications are most at risk of trying heroin. And most of those teens get the prescription drugs right out of the medicine cabinet at home.
