Police in Seymour were called Friday morning for a report of a vehicle following the caller, after the caller had taken a picture of the second vehicle.
Both vehicles pulled into the Seymour Police Station, and after speaking with both motorists, an officer observed signs of intoxication from the original caller. When questioned, the 65-year-old Grand Chute man admitted to drinking “one-and-a-half” cocktails, along with taking prescription medication.
The man underwent field sobriety tests and was taken into custody for operating while intoxicated. He also refused a preliminary breath test. Dispatch ran the man’s license, which showed that he had one prior conviction.
A legal blood draw was conducted at an area hospital and the 65-year-old man was booked into the Outagamie County Jail under suspicious of a second OWI offense.
