Three swimming pool proposals will head to the Clintonville Common Council for discussion after the Clintonville Ad Hoc Pool Committee met at the end of July. All three proposals feature different amenities and features, one like the original proposal from Water Technology Inc (WTI) at a cost of $5.4 million, another with reduced features as the original at $4.6 million, while the final proposal is similar to the city’s current pool but without a kiddie pool, at a cost of $4 million. The ad hoc committee held discussions about the cost-effectiveness of having a public swimming pool. All three proposals will go to council for direction the city should take regarding its pool options.
