Shawano County Dispatch received a complaint of a reckless driver recently, which led to an OWI. Deputies responded to reports of a male driver “all over the road” on Highway 29 and the vehicle was eventually located at a house in Bonduel. When deputies made contact with the driver, he admitted to driving, though he appeared intoxicated. Preliminary alcohol test showed the driver’s blood-alcohol content was .22, nearly three times the legal limit. The driver was arrested for his 5th OWI. Deputies also discovered narcotics inside the vehicle and the driver was transported to the Shawano County Jail.
