Recent rain and wind has kept water levels high, leading to large fluctuation in water temperatures for fishing.
In Waupaca County, the DNR reported that white bass fishing on the Wolf River is starting to slow down, but catfish activity is starting to pick up.
The DNR also reported that in Waupaca County, bluegill are starting to spawn and are being found in shallow waters.
