The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people in Wittenberg, after a welfare check was requested for use of drugs around a child.
According to the report, sheriff officials were notified that the driver of a vehicle was high, with a child in the vehicle. Officials arrested a man and a pregnant woman, who both admitted to using meth.
Charges have been referred to the Shawano County District Attorney’s Office and the child was turned over to a guardian.
