According to the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department, a 73-year-old woman from Hortonville was killed Thursday morning, after her vehicle struck a house in Greenville.
Just after 8:30 a.m., responders were dispatched to the 8000 block Spring Road. Authorities say that the van left the road but continued on for about 100 yards, before hitting a tree and running into an abandoned home.
Authorities say they’re still unsure if the woman died as a result of the crash, or if she suffered from a medical condition.
Outagamie County Staff Sgt. Ryan Carpenter says an autopsy is being planned, as the accident is under investigation.
