In the early morning hours Friday, just before 1 a.m., crews were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident on VandenHeuvel Road in the Town of Seymour.
A 34-year-old man from Coleman needed to be pulled from his vehicle by using the Jaws of Life, which crews say took a couple hours because his vehicle had been wedged between a pair of trees.
The man was freed and taken to a nearby Green Bay hospital with where he was treated for serious injuries.
Authorities say the man had missed a curve, striking a sign and a culvert.
The accident is under investigation.
