The Pulaski Community School District Board of Education formally recognized the Red Raider Field of Dreams steering committee at its most recent meeting for their work in getting Phase I of the project not only built, but paid for in just one year. Phase I of the project kicked off in late April of 2016 with a groundbreaking ceremony. Saputo Stadium was built and ready for action on Sept. 2 for the Pulaski football team this past fall. The committee was able to raise the funds through grants and fundraising efforts totaling $3.6 million. Efforts are underway to complete Phase II of the project, which includes two baseball fields, two softball fields, three tennis courts, more practice fields and a re-excavation of the Pulaski Community Middle School soccer complex.
