Two teens from Waupaca were charged Wednesday for threatening shootings at the two Oshkosh Public High Schools. They were 18-year-old Andrew Moore and 17-year-old Dylan Bird, who each had been charged with two counts of making terrorist threats. If convicted, each count would carry a maximum penalty of three and a half years of prison time.
The two allegedly made a pair of threatening phone calls regarding Oshkosh North and Oshkosh West High Schools to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department, which prompted extra patrol Wednesday, and a closing of the schools last Thursday.
Authorities also arrested a 15-year-old who was taken to a juvenile detention center.
