A former Oconto Falls convenience store employee has been charged with stealing nearly $69,000 in lottery tickets from the business. Linda M. Elliott, 60, of Lena, faces six felony counts of theft-business setting for taking the tickets over the course of 10 months, ending in early February 2017. Elliott was charged May 29 with four counts of theft in a business setting over $10,000, punishable by up to 10 years in prison, and two counts of theft in a business setting from $5,000 to $10,000, punishable by up to six years in prison. Oconto County Judge Michael T. Judge set Elliott’s bond at $25,000 signature. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 27.
