A man convicted for owing more than $40,000 in child support now faces meth charges. Lee Roy R. Blank, 36, Manawa, is charged with delivery of amphetamine, possession of amphetamine with intent to deliver, maintaining a drug trafficking place, a second OWI, and operating after revocation. New London police officers responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint near the intersection of Division and Evergreen streets. Officer Luke Curtis reported the engine was running and the driver was unconscious. According to the criminal complaint, the driver was lethargic, unresponsive to questions and unable to open his eyes. Police reported finding $1,640 in cash in Blank’s pocket, as well as a plastic gem pac with meth, several syringes, and a newspaper article about the indictment of several local meth dealers. Blank is currently in Waupaca County jail on a probation hold for the failure to pay child support convictions. He is scheduled for a revocation hearing on July 23.
