A slow speed chase in Howartd ended with a man being tasered and possibly overdosing Monday night. A woman called law enforcement to say she was hiding in a wooded area and was afraid people were going to beat her up. A short time later, deputies spotted a red Malibu described by the victim. A slow speed chase ensued as officers followed the vehicle, driven by Bradley Watermolen. Watermelon got out of the car at the home and was very animated. He asked officers to shoot him. Watermelon had something in his mouth that he would not spit out. Officers ended up taking him and Watermelon swallowed the object. Deputies arrested Watermolen but he was later taken to the hospital for a possible drug overdose.
