The Bonduel Fire Department will be in full force during the towns 4th of July parade. They will be out and about running the Muscular Dystrophy Association Boot Drive during the parade as they look for donations to help the local community find a cure for muscular diseases. We talked with Murphy Maes, a development specialist with MDA, about the drive and how it helps the community. (Click Play to hear Maes)
They’d like to continue their success at the parade. Proceeds from this event go into research on all muscular diseases, a day camp for kids to give them a once in a lifetime experience and this allows them to have the ability loan out equipment if parties need supplies they normally couldn’t get.
