In Brown County health officials want residents to protect themselves and their pets against ticks. The health department said two muskrats at a nature area near Green Bay died from Tularemia. Rabbits, Beavers and muskrats are most commonly affected but the disease can also affect humans. Symptoms include skin ulcers at th sight of infection, swollen lymph glands or pneumonia accompanied by a sudden fever and body aches.
