A public involvement meeting for a proposed County Road I reconstruction project will be held Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the Community Center in Clintonville. The objective of the meeting, which will include an open house and short presentation at 5:15 p.m., is to familiarize area residents with the purpose and the need for the project and to gather input on the proposed improvements. Exhibits and maps will be available for review, and project representatives will address citizens’ questions or concerns. The project will reconstruct County Road I from the east side of U.S. Highway 45 to the east side of the Kluth Road intersection, which will impact residents of Clintonville, and the towns of Matteson and Larrabee. The proposed improvements would reconstruct the roadway to current highway standards, including 12-foot travel lanes and 6-foot-wide shoulders, three feet of which is paved.
