In Cooperation with the Wisconsin Emergency Management and the National Weather Service this week is designated as Severe Weather awareness week. As part of the drills on Thursday April 12th there will be two mock tornado drills, the first will be a tornado watch to let you know that conditions are favorable and about 45 minutes later will be a tornado warning. The National Weather Service suggests that businesses, Schools and Homes teach the preparedness of the storm and what to do is such an emergency. The National Weather service will conduct two separate tests one at 1:00 p.m. and the other at 6:45 p.m. which will be the Tornado Warning only. People are asked to make sure their battery operated radios are functional and plan where to go to be safe in case of such an emergency.
