The city of Clintonville is researching the possibility of constructing a pedestrian bridge in W.A. Olen Park connecting the center of the park with the peninsula located in the park. Justin Mc Auly, parks and recreation director, told the Clintonville Park and Recreation Committee if it were to move forward, it would have to be funded 100 percent by donations. He added that the Lynne Simpson family, who donated the funds to build the disc golf course, is interested in making a donation to help fund the bridge. A donation of $10,000 has been made to fund a study to determine the feasibility of a bridge in that location. The feasibility study would take around two months to complete.
