Investigators are asking for more possible witnesses to come forward regarding a drive-by shooting near Waupaca five years ago. At 3:30 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, multiple shots were fired into Wally World from a car driving through the parking lot. Rickey Stoflet Jr., then age 35, had been working at Wally World that night. At the time of the shooting, he was standing in an apartment attached to the rear of the bar on County Road QQ in King. Stoflet was seriously wounded by a bullet and remained hospitalized for 10 days at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office said investigators have interviewed nearly two dozen people and executed multiple search warrants regarding the shooting.
