This Thursday Waupaca County Emergency Government will sponsoring a weather spotter training session. SKYWARN® is a volunteer program with between 350,000 and 400,000 trained severe weather spotters. These volunteers help keep their local communities safe by providing timely and accurate reports of severe weather to the National Weather Service. Training is free and typically lasts about 2 hours. The training session will be from 6-8:00 pm in the Lower level of the Waupaca County Courthouse and the training is open to the public.
