SPEEDING:
The Shawano County Sheriff department reminds driver to be aware of the speed limits and to drive according to the limits and weather conditions. This week the department reports that their traffic office, Deputy Bruce Leiser, stopped 11 drivers for the following speeds: 67/55, 79/65, 84/65, 79/65, 82/55, 70/55, 90/65, 93/65, 84/65, 68/55, and 70/55.
Excessive Speed is a factor in one third of all fatal crashes. Deputy Leiser also reminds motorist to turn on your headlights in bad weather.
