Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker announced today that $15 million will be available for rural school districts to upgrade technology. School districts that have 16 or fewer students per square mile will be eligible for grants ranging $30,000 to $60,000.
Eligible districts in Wisconsin include, Bowler, Iola-Scandinavia, Gresham, Gillett, New London, Seymour, Shiocton, Stockbridge, Suring, Tigerton and Waupaca.
The Department of Administration will be accepting grant applications from eligible school districts between now and February 2nd. The grants will be available for the 2018 fiscal year.
