Manawa Police and school personnel say they are still investigating a threat that led to a “lock-out” at Little Wolf Jr/Sr High School yesterday. According to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s report, the Manawa police department received a report of “graffiti on the wall threatening to bomb Little Wolf High School.”
But Manawa Police Chief Jim Gorman says that wasn’t the case.
“There’s nothing referencing bombs or anything like that,” Gorman said. “It was some inappropriate words on a wall within a bathroom at the high school.”
Gorman says that teaches and students were secured in their classrooms and then police arrived, investigated, and were able to safely get all students on the buses and out of the area.
