A driver who went on to the shoulder of the roadway and over corrected led to a series of events that caused a crash that briefly shut down traffic on highway 45 in Bear Creek.
The Waupaca County Sheriff Department says that after over correcting his vehicle, the 24-year-old man crossed the center line and struck a northbound semi. The man was trapped inside his car and needed to be extricated by the Bear Creek Fire Department.
He sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Theda Clark Medical center in Neenah. The 57-year-old semi-driver was not injured.
