The Clintonville Knights of Columbus hosted the 40th Annual Thanksgiving Day Meal yesterday at the city’s community center. About 90 people were served home cooked meal that included roast turkey, stuffing, potatoes, and pie. Meals were served at the community center and people also had the option for carryout. Dick Writt ran the event and says there was plenty of food for everyone.
“It was perfect,” Writt said. “About the only thing we had left is potatoes and stuffing.”
Writt says they were able to prepare an additional 12-15 meals for people to take home. He also says there were around 25 volunteers throughout meal.
